Here are six words that are hard to believe: Dreamforce is right around the corner! Is it just me, or does it feel like we’re only two months — three tops — into 2021? Nevertheless, here we are in mid-September already, with the Salesforce event of the year just a few days away. Although Dreamforce won’t be happening in-person this year, we’ve been hard at work to bring this year’s event into your home office, living room, or makeshift bedroom office in an exciting new way.
For a more detailed look at what we’ve been working on over the last few months to make this event one to remember, here are the top four reasons why you should attend Dreamforce 2021. PLUS a surprise additional event at the end. I know you want to read all the way to the bottom!
1. Say Hello to Salesforce+ — The Netflix of Biz Content
This past August, we announced our new streaming service, Salesforce+, which will be available to audiences around the globe starting September 16. As you might’ve guessed, Salesforce+ will serve as our host platform for all Dreamforce 2021 digital content! Registered Dreamforce attendees will get first access to Salesforce+ by signing up for a digital front-row seat at Dreamforce 2021.
Inspired by the familiar user experiences of Netflix and Peloton, Salesforce+ is designed for viewers to experience engaging live and on-demand content in the comfort of their home. It will consist of four channels covering every role, industry, and topic, plus over 100 additional hours of on-demand content. You can expect original series, podcasts, and luminary speakers — all of which will be focused on helping you to learn new skills, pursue new career opportunities, and drive change in this digital-first, work-from-anywhere world. 2. Salesforce.org Sessions You Can’t Miss
Just go ahead and block off Wednesday, September 22 now. You’re going to be busy that day with a jam-packed lineup of Salesforce.org sessions, all of which will take place on the 22nd. Here’s a rundown of the Salesforce.org Dreamforce content to look forward to.

Dreamforce 2021 will highlight a handful of incredible stories across the education, nonprofit, and philanthropy sectors. From community colleges that are redefining workforce development to organizations that made game-changing pivots to foster community during the pandemic, our customer sessions will cover it all. Mapping an End-to-End Student Journey with Education Cloud: Hear from Matt Echison, chief information officer and senior vice president at Ivy Tech Community College, about how the Indiana-based community college system created a 360-degree view of their students across each learner’s entire college journey.
How UNICEF Australia Made A Case for Changing Digital Experiences: Perhaps the greatest challenge facing nonprofits today isn’t changing the world, but rather changing themselves. UNICEF Australia’s chief operating officer, Sarah Grattan, will join Nonprofit Cloud’s vice president of product marketing, David Slater, to talk about the organization’s journey from making the case for change to successful implementation.
How Kellogg Company Persevered to Help Its Communities: In 2020, and in the midst of a global pandemic, Kellogg employees jumped at the opportunity to make change in important areas, like hunger, sustainability, and racial equality. Thanks to a strong culture and powerful technology, employees were empowered to lead the charge in giving back. Hear from Benjamin Schorr, Kellogg’s senior manager of philanthropy and social impact, and Siobhan Jones, Philanthropy Cloud’s senior director of partner sales.

4. Philanthropy at Dreamforce: $1M to Conserve, Restore, and Grow Trees
Just because Dreamforce is virtual this year doesn’t mean that we’re not giving back. It’s no secret that at Salesforce, we consider the environment to be a key stakeholder. That’s why we are a founding partner of 1t.org and are committed to making sure every community has access to trees, a vital resource in the fight against climate change. This Dreamforce, we’re mobilizing the global community by donating $1M to American Forests and One Tree Planted.
