I think some of the best shares to buy now are value stocks. I reckon these investments will benefit from the double tailwind of earnings growth and valuation expansion as the UK economy reopens.

As such, here are two such investments I’d buy for my portfolio today.

Best shares to buy now

At the top of my list of cheap value stocks is NatWest Group (LSE: NWG). Formerly known as Royal Bank of Scotland, the company is one of the UK’s largest banks.

I think this means it could generate significant returns as the UK economy recovers during the next few years. The enterprise has weathered the pandemic incredibly well. It’s now set to exit the crisis with a stronger balance sheet and more scope for growth.

The company’s stronger fundamentals also hints at the potential for higher dividends. According to one City analyst, the five largest UK … Read more

When was the last time you updated your Facebook advertising strategy? Unless the answer is “I just did,” you need to read this.

Facebook advertising is one of the most effective forms of digital marketing out there, but it’s not easy. Don’t do that!

Facebook advertising is changing and so are your customers’ expectations. Here we’ll give you three new concepts to supercharge your current strategy.

Even with the big iOS 14 update, Facebook continues to be one of the most cost-effective advertising strategies. With that in mind, anytime there is a major change to a platform, it’s time for every business to do a little strategy refresh…

Tide partners with NASA in a Space Act Agreement to explore how to efficiently clean astronauts’ clothing in resource-constrained environments

Tide has signed a Space Act Agreement with NASA to help in the development of laundry detergent solutions and technology development in space. Under the agreement, NASA may test and study Tide cleaning solutions in space.

The study could have potential on-planet implications like innovative solutions for resource and environmental challenges on Earth. Aligning with the detergent brand’s decade-long sustainability commitment, Ambition 2030, Tide will strive to bring off-planet learnings back to everyday consumer products.

Currently, astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) wear clothing several times before replacing it with a new set. Clothing is delivered to the station through resupply shipment opportunities.

The limited cargo capacity makes the practice of replenishing the clothing supply challenging for deep space missions, such as Artemis Moon missions and a crewed roundtrip … Read more

Our work at UNICEF is wide-ranging. We work in over 190 countries and territories with the goal of saving children’s lives, defending their rights, and helping them fulfil their potential. We support children and their families from pregnancy to early childhood through to adolescence, and many live in some of the world’s most rural, vulnerable, and remote communities.

Every year we vaccinate half the world’s children. Now, we are using our 75-year history and expertise to reach every community with COVID-19 vaccines.

In 2021, the world’s largest children’s organisation is taking on a history-making mission for all of us. The most challenging and inspiring task that UNICEF has this year is leading the procurement and supply of COVID-19 vaccines on behalf of the COVAX facility. On June 15, our team launched the COVID Vaccination Alliance of UNICEF Australia with a … Read more

Drug development company Sareum Holdings (LSE:SAR) specialises in developing therapeutics for cancer and autoimmune diseases such as arthritis and irritable bowel disease (IBD). Last year, heightened interest in biopharma stocks led the Sareum share price to rocket over 572%. And this year, its ascent has continued, with its share price hitting a high of 9.5p in June. This momentum has brought the penny stock to the attention of many UK growth investors.

What does Sareum do?

Sareum is a small molecule drug company developing targeted therapeutics. However, it doesn’t do the initial research. Instead, the team learns from others in the game using a low-cost research outsource model.

The team looks for drug candidates they believe will go all the way through clinical trials. Sareum then further designs the chosen molecules in-house and commissions lab work to proceed.

For instance, some existing autoimmune treatments treat the disease but have terrible … Read more
